Practical Courses
Our practical courses are all about getting you afloat — you’ll spend the majority of your time out on the water where the real learning happens, with only a little time in the classroom for the essentials.
To make sure you’re comfortable, please bring waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear that you don’t mind getting wet. A spare change of clothes and a towel are also handy, just in case your waterproofs let in a bit of water.
We’ll provide you with one of our serviced and approved lifejackets, so you can focus on enjoying your time on the course.
If you’re booked on a Powerboat Level 2 or Day Skipper course, don’t forget to bring a passport-sized photograph — this is required for us to issue your certificate.
Courses usually run from 0930 – 1730 each day.
