Evening Cruises

The mere thought of being on a boat in the dark in open water is often enough to send shivers up the spines of many boaters. Some of the best and most memorable experiences we have had as boaters are of boating at dawn or dusk. Mendez Marine are organising a series of skippered evening passages aboard ‘Fenland Dancer’ designed to introduce boaters to the joys of evening boating. These tailored passages will be starting late afternoon, pre dusk and returning later! See the Solent and the River Hamble in a new light, or dark, depending on how you wish to see it.

Boating at night is a completely different experience and on a night with a full moon, a passage up the river can be quite enchanting.

These trips are ideally run with small numbers so we have a minimum of two persons and a maximum of four persons.

Our night cruises are non-RYA certificated and are intended for the gaining of experience only but will count towards your logged night hours. Obviously we want these to be enjoyable experiences so all bookings are provisional and subject to a suitable weather forecast.
