Some months ago we published a set of Speed Quizzes aimed at helping reduce the tedium of the first Covid Lockdown. We were overwhelmed by the number of people who registered to take part in the quizzes, identifying to us that there is a need for us to continue creating such quizzes.
In response to the many messages of support for this initiative we have changed some of the parameters the quizzes were initially published with. The timed element has now been removed so you have as long as you need to compete the quizzes. Each registration can now have up to five attempts at each quiz.
The aim of these quizzes is to test your knowledge. For some of you it may have been some time since you last did a RYA theory course and for some you may be currently in the process of gaining RYA qualifications. Whichever group you fall under, these quizzes ARE for you.
On completion of the quiz, submit your answers by using the link provided and you will immediately receive your score/grade. You can also receive a .pdf file of the questions, your answers and where necessary the correct answers. Please do not be disheartened if your initial score is less than what you expected; the quizzes are hard and will test your retained knowledge. Use the .pdf to review your answers, I suspect that you will find questions that have been marked incorrect for the simple reason that you didn’t read the question fully or for that matter the answers. Retake the quiz and see how much better you have now done.
Those subject areas that you may have scored poorly are subject areas that you may wish to review by reading the relevant RYA book or reviewing your course notes.
There are no prizes other than the satisfaction of improving your score. We hope that you enjoy these and future, subject specific, quizzes.
