Accessing your Online Course

When you access the RYA Interactive site for your first login you will have to complete your user profile before progressing to the home page. You need to click ‘enable’ before entering your date of birth and updating your profile. This is a once-only process.There is also now a ‘Help ­ top navigation bar’, this gives compatibility information and advice, and answers the main FAQs.

To access the following courses you need to go to the RYA Interactive site here. When you go to the site you will need to login with the username and password we have emailed you. Please check your spam folder.

• RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship
  Your pack will be sent by post, this includes your course notes plotter and dividers. When you have completed the online course and passed the online assessment there is a certificate which we will send.
• RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities 
  The course requires you understand the legal and paperwork side of running a boat, to that end the documentation is quite lengthy so we suggest that before you start the exam you download the reference documents so they are to hand when taking the final test.
• RYA VHF Radio Course
  We will send RYA VHF course book either as a hard copy for UK students or as an Ebook if overseas. This covers the same material and acts as your reference guide. When you have completed the online course, and passed the online assessment there is a certificate to download, you must print it out and take it with you to the formal exam centre.
• RYA Cevni Test
  On this course you will get plenty of practise sessions for as long as you like, when ready you can take the actual test. You get two attempts and you need to get 11/14 to pass.

To enable access to your online course we need to share some of your personal data with Navathome via www.navathome.com. This training website and database is held and maintained on a secure server. Navathome is an RYA training centre which specialises in online navigation training and will not use your personal information for any reason other than enabling your course.

• RYA Day Skipper Theory
  Your RYA Day Skipper Theory Course pack will be sent to you by Navatahome. Navathome are a recognised RYA training centre specialising in online theory courses. Navathome will send you a student pack that contains your charts and course book in it, and if ordered plotter and dividers . When you have completed the online course and passed the online assessment there is a certificate which Navathome will also send. Instructors at Navathome will support you throughout the online course.
• RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachmaster Theory
  Your RYA Day Coastal / Yachtmaster Theory Course pack, will be sent to you by Navatahome. Navathome are a recognised RYA training centre specialising in online theory courses. Navathome will send you a student pack that contains your charts and course book in it, and if ordered plotter and dividers. When you have completed the online course and passed the online assessment there is a certificate which Navathome will also send. Instructors at Navathome will support you throughout the online course.
• RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Theory
  Navathome will send you your RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Theory Course student pack which contains your course work book. When you have completed the online course and passed the online assessment they will also send you your certificate.
