RYA Practical Motor Cruising Courses
The RYA Practical Motor Cruising courses range from a minimum of two days for the Helmsman's course to five days for the Yachtmaster® Coastal and Offshore certificates aboard either your own boat or on the school's twin shaft Storebro motor cruiser.
You can enter the Motor Cruising Scheme at any stage subject to your knowledge and experience; there is no need to start at the beginner’s level.

If you are unsure if you are at Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper standard, we suggest you call us to discuss your experience and we can then advise what course would be best suited to you.
We also run the RYA Yachtmaster® Offshore prep and examination. As such, there is not a "course" for Yachtmaster and there are specific criteria which have to be met before the exam can be undertaken. Lastly there is the ICC - the International Certificate of Competence, often required by foreign authorities.
