Only an hour from London the River Hamble is at the heart of The Solent and Mendez Marine provides not only RYA Training but for customers who have been through our school the opportunity to charter our 7.0m RIB ‘Swiss T’ and our 32 foot twin shaft motor cruiser ‘Motala’ at fantastic prices to ensure that all your RYA training is put to good use.

Weekdays from £200.00 + fuel per day for our 7m RIB Charter ‘Swiss T’
Weekdays from £350.00 + fuel per day for our 11m Motor cruiser ‘Motala’
How do you charter from Mendez Marine?
RYA training is the first thing to do if you want to charter from us. We will only charter to clients we have trained. This is for both of our benefits as you will know the boat and how to handle it and we are happy that they are in good hands.

The Rib
All RYA powerboat courses are run on our 7 metre Ribcraft - Swiss T - powered by a 200 hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard and she is a very solid boat with excellent sea keeping qualities.
Equipped with the latest Raymarine C series chart plotter and ICOM VHF/DSC radio all students are introduced to GPS (Global Positioning System) and electronic navigation (the level varies according to the course being undertaken) Now available for you to enjoy.
The Motor Cruiser
The boat used for the RYA Motor Cruising Courses is called "Motala" and she is a 10 metre Storebro. Powered by twin Volvo AD 41's rated at 200 hp each, Motala is an ideal boat for both beginners and experienced boaters alike.
With an enclosed wheel house, students can enjoy, and concentrate, on the task in hand without having the distraction of being rained on, snowed on or just being cold. She has on board heating which keeps the cabin very toasty! She is also equipped with modern navigation equipment including radar, AIS and auto pilot. she can sleep 6 but in reality 4 is probably more practical.
