Following on from our great 2011 Cruise to the West Country our 2012 plans are moving ahead. Being a Diamond Jubilee year we thought it would be fun to have a diamond shaped cruise. Starting from Solent base we plan to head south to Guernsey and then return via the West Country. We will start with a first night in Yarmouth on the beautiful Isle of Wight, then onwards to St Peter Port Guernsey, for a couple of days before heading back north to either Dartmouth or Fowey then pottering back along the south coast. The diamond course allows us to choose nearer the time which way round we want to run it. All being weather dependent of course!!
The Mendez Marine team will be along to help in all sorts of ways – general support, helping with electronic navigation skills on your boat, radar use etc, so expect to see some familiar faces. The cruise is open to all craft over 28ft in length with a safe range of 100 miles, we supply all the course notes and chartlets, and arrange all the berthing with the marinas at a discounted rate. ‘Lady C’ will again be our lead boat and be joined by our rib ‘Swiss T’ as the second escort boat.
This year’s dates are 1st – 8th June 2012, again they are based around the long bank holiday where there is an extra day for the Queens Diamond Jubilee, so hopefully you can join us. The cost of the cruise is £750.00.

We will be limiting the number of boats to a maximum of 15 so it is manageable and also retains the “family” atmosphere enjoyed for the last few years.
