May 27th - June 2nd 2011
And we are off!! 10 boats have joined us for the West country trip this year. The weather gods looked like they may be fickle but with some careful juggling we now have 10 boats assembled in Poole and we were blessed with flat seas and Blue sky's after the run across from the Solent to Poole. First night ashore and a great meal and quiz was had in Da Vinci's on Poole Quay.
27th May 2011 and were off! First Day's passage Southampton to Poole, a Saturday night quiz from Julie and a meal ashore at Da Vinci's, a great time had by all!
Monday the 30th. After a delayed start whilst the weather calmed down, we set off for Brixham, bit lumpy on the first two headlands, but Lyme Bay was pretty flat - as told to us by Steve!

Tuesday the 31st. A fab day trip to Dartmouth, Lady C, Serenity, Suprendo and of course Swiss T acted as 'taxi's. The entrance to Dartmouth still takes the breath away!
Wednesday 1st June. Brixham to Weymouth, the weather gods are still with us and we get a smooth passage back to our old haunt of Weymouth Quay, rafting up and all the fun of meeting the neighbours for scones and a glass of Pimms!
Thursday 2nd June. Weymouth back to the Solent. A beautiful trip back along Dorset's beautiful coastline, calm conditions and with much stunning scenery to see.
Sadly back to reality now, BUT we are planning the next, so get your name down now, whilst there is still space as everybody who came this year wants to come back for MORE!
